About the Department
The regulation and supervision of professional trustees and other fiduciaries fall within the remit of the MFSA and in fact the MFSA has a specific function designated with the responsibility for both the authorisation as well as the supervision of trustees and other fiduciaries. The function's main objective is to ensure that licensed trustees and fiduciaries have the appropriate structures and systems in place to service clients adequately whilst at the same time preserving their reputation as well as Malta's reputation, taking into account its international commitments.
About the Role
Within this role you will be joining the Trustees Supervision Function, to provide operational support to the Function in its day to day processes relating to the authorisation and approval of prospective license holders and key officials, as well as in the ongoing monitoring of the conduct of the respective licence holders, as applicable.
This role will provide you with the opportunity to work closely with a multi-disciplinary team to gain exposure and hands-on experience in the area of regulation, authorisation and supervision, as well as exposure to the workings of international bodies and standards, and in general to work in a professional environment which fosters professional growth.

About You
We are looking for candidates who are eager to join an enthusiastic team with a keen interest in financial services, regulation and compliance. Interested candidates should be currently reading for, or in the process of obtaining a qualification at National Qualification Framework Level 6 or better, duly certified by the Malta Qualifications Recognition Information Centre (MQRIC) or a widely recognised professional qualification at a comparable level in Law, Banking & Finance or any other related area.
