The Department
The Investment Services Supervision Function is responsible for the authorisation and supervision of investment services licence holders and recognised persons. The Data Analytics Team is responsible for the oversight of the function’s returns data received from license holders, as well as the management of internal data. The oversight of such data is carried through technical tools such as dashboards and manual assessment. The team also focuses on ensuring data quality assurance within the function. The Investment Services Supervision Function is also involved in policy-related work.

About you
We are looking for candidates with solid academic background in financial services, accounting, economics, or in another related area which is considered relevant to the function and duties attached to this post.
The role calls for an academic qualification in a relevant field of study at National Qualification Framework Level 6 or better, duly certified by the Malta Qualifications Recognition Information Centre (MQRIC) or a widely recognised professional qualification at a comparable level.
You will also possess a minimum of three (3) years working experience in the area related to the role. Candidates with longer working experience relevant to the role will be preferred.
If you do not have the necessary academic or professional qualifications but you have at least seven (7) years of relevant experience, we would still be interested in speaking with you.
