Overview

About the Department 

The Administration & Facilities Management oversees and manages the Authority's building management services, centralised travel desk, hospitality, and support and ensures the efficient performance of all function areas. 

About the Role  

As a General Duties Senior Officer you will be undertaking duties within the Administration & Facilities Function of the Authority and your duties will include:  

  • Performing general maintenance tasks as directed by management; 
  • Carrying out general building maintenance, including repairs to equipment and furniture logistics; 
  • Responding promptly to emergency maintenance requests; 
  • Assisting with renovation projects and perform various maintenance tasks such as plastering, painting, plumbing, and other related work, as required; 
  • Assisting with the transportation of furniture and office equipment; 
  • Collecting mail;
  • Performing messenger duties both internally and externally; 
  • Undertaking driving duties and ensure the proper upkeep of vehicles; 
  • Carrying out deliveries and errands on a daily basis; 
  • Providing support to the cleaning services, when required; 
  • Assisting in preparing tea/coffee/snacks for meetings and cleaning up meeting rooms; 
  • Opening and closing office premises as needed; 
  • Conducting routine inspections of the Authority's premises, as needed; 
  • Assisting with general administrative tasks, including filing, photocopying, scanning, and purchasing supplies; 
  • Providing logistical support for training courses and other events organized by the MFSA;
  • Performing any other tasks delegated by management. 

About You  

We are looking for candidates in possession of a valid driving Licence. Applicants must be able to work on their own initiative, be well organised, have the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively, have excellent communication manners and be fluent in the Maltese language. 

Working experience in a similar role will be considered as an asset.
