About Department

The Data Solutions team is pivotal in driving business efficiency and operational excellence by leveraging new and cutting-edge technologies and systems, primarily focusing on the Authority’s supervision and electronic records management processes. The team is dedicated to the development, implementation and continuous improvement of the Authority’s new ERP Systems and ensuring its alignment with business objectives, thereby enhancing data quality, integrity, user productivity and the overall user experience.

About The Role

As the Senior ERP Solutions Manager, you will be responsible to lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of its ERP systems, together with the Authority’s chosen strategic partners. This role plays a pivotal part in the Authority’s digital transformation efforts.

As The ERP Solutions Manager you will be responsible for the following main duties:

  • Solutions Management: Maintain, enhance, and create workflows, functions, and configurations within the Authority’s ERP systems.
  • Partner Management: Work closely with the Authority’s strategic partners, other technical teams, program management, and business users to develop and maintain complex workflow rules, data validation, and triggers.
  • Technical Support: Develop and operate the service desk for the ERP solutions using ITIL best practices.
  • Administrative Support: Perform daily administrative tasks, address production support issues, and undertake any other related duties as assigned.
  • Leadership and Team Empowerment: Lead by example to inspire and motivate a diverse team of technical experts. Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and open communication, ensuring team members feel valued and empowered. Drive the team's development by encouraging continuous learning and professional growth, and mentor team members to take on leadership roles in the development, implementation, and strategic management of the ERP Systems.
  • Quality Assurance: Coordinate with our Data Governance and Quality teams to uphold product quality and system integration, adhering strictly to data quality and integrity standards.
  • Innovation: Actively seek out and evaluate emerging technologies and trends in the ERP landscape and beyond. Assess their potential impact on the Authority’s strategic goals and operational efficiency, integrating innovative solutions that position the Authority as a leader in technological adoption.
  • Documentation: Ensure through documentation of the implemented system architecture and workflows, recording their purpose, involved stakeholders, steps, and any technical considerations for future reference and optimization.

About You

We are looking for candidates with a qualification at MQF Level 6 in Computer Science or a related field.

The role calls for an academic qualification in a relevant field of study at National Qualification Framework Level 6 or better. duly certified by the Malta Qualifications Recognition Information Centre (MQRIC) or a widely recognised professional qualification at a comparable level.

You will also possess a minimum of six (6) years prior experience in implementing ERP platforms and solutions or other relevant working experience. Management experience is considered desirable together with experience using Pega Systems or similar Low-Code Solutions, SiteCore or similar headless content management systems, Java or Python, and JavaScript frameworks (Angular or React) would be considered advantageous.

If you do not have the necessary academic or professional qualifications but you have at least fifteen (15) years of relevant experience in a related environment. we would still be interested in speaking with you.

  • Adaptability: Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and changing business requirements.
